The offroad run course starts with 400meters on the beach before running over a little sand dune and then through the Cutty Saak Hatel grounds and onto a foot path. After about 2km you pop out onto the Renishaw Sugarcane farm. The 5 and 10km routes do a loop on the Renishaw farm dust roads and then link up with the Beach.  There are NO DISTANCE Markers, you are supposed to let go and run like you did when you were a child. You are going to love this experience.

The Mountain Bike riders will congregate on the grass banks of Scottburgh main beach. Riders will then ride in a NEUTRAL ZONE to the Start on the Renishaw Sugarcane Farm. The Mountain Bike race WILL NOT incorporate riding on the beach sand.The Mountain biker route is fast and exciting with dirt road, single track and forest lane. There are exciting features Including riding through the CROCWORLD, Single Track through forests and lastly the Cannonbrea SAPPI forest circuit.The MTB Race is moderately difficult and positioned at the weekend warrier.

The focus of the weekend is to offer an achievable enjoyable offroad run and MTB ride which will leave participants ready to enjoy the afternoon on the beach. Fit Athletes keen to push themselves will be well challenged if they take on the 9.7km offroad Run and then the 40km MTB ride.
Following the MTB race a DJ will entertain riders and runners in the Scottburgh lifesaving club with Prize giving set for around 12noon.
